When people think about the giant fast-food company with the golden arches, they often picture a certain businessman, but the real story, you know, goes back to two brothers who started it all. Richard “Dick” McDonald, along with his brother Maurice, were the true originators of the quick-service eating place we know today. They were the ones who dreamt up a whole new way of serving food, a system that, in a way, changed how folks eat out.
